According to the Detroit Lions, they have signed free agent running back Nick Brossette to the practice squad. In a corresponding move, they have released RB David Williams, who they had just signed on Wednesday.

The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent RB Nick Brossette to the practice squad. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.
In addition, the team announced that they have released RB David Williams from the practice squad.
Brossette joins the Lions after spending the preseason with the New England Patriots, who signed him as an undrafted rookie free agent out of LSU following the 2019 NFL Draft.
