The Detroit Lions final roster took another step forward on Monday morning, as the team announced the signing of free-agent running back Justin Stockton.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Additionally, the team released WR Deontez Alexander while also activating LB Steve Longa from Active/Physically Unable to Perform.
An undrafted rookie free agent out of Texas Tech, Stockton originally broke into the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks and also spent time with the Lions practice squad.
