According to the Detroit Lions, they have signed free agent running back, James Williams.

Williams, who is a rookie, had 122 carries for 560 yards and 12 rushing TDs during his senior season at Washington State. He also caught a whopping 83 passes for 613 yards and four receiving touchdowns in his final season at WSU.
This move comes a day after the Lions announced they have released RB Zach Zenner.
