DL Ricky Jean Francois has message for Detroit Lions’ fans

For those of you who attended the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Detroit Lions and New England Patriots, you certainly had a great time as the Lions dominated the Patriots on their way to a 26-10 victory.

Of course, the main reason for the fun was that the Lions played their most complete game against a good team in a long, long time. The offense was efficient, the defense confused Tom Brady and the Patriots’ offense, and the special teams…well, we are sure they will manage to return a punt sometime in the near future without picking up a penalty.

Though the players on the field make the plays, whether good or bad, Lions defensive lineman Ricky Jean Francois acknowledged the fans who attended the game at Ford Field as part of the reason for the team’s success on Sunday Night Football.

From Lions Wire:

“I take my hat off to the city. The city was here tonight. The city was behind us and I was happy they were behind us, supporting us, from the first minute of kickoff until the last minute of the game. They were all still there.”

“Ah man, I’m telling you, the city was here. The city brought the lightning. I don’t know what the city was thinking the other day, but they came and they supported us and I take my hat off to every last person in the building.
