Heading into training camp, many thought the Detroit Lions running back stable was a weakness on the team. Heck, some still do feel that way. (I have never been one of those people)
Anyways, Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia continue to do their due diligence to form the best roster they can and according to Adam Schefter, the team will work out former Philadelphia Eagles RB Donnel Pumphrey on Tuesday.

Pumphrey was selected by the Eagles in the 4th Round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He did not see any game action during the season and was waived on Saturday. He put up HUGE numbers during his final season at San Diego State as he rushed for 2,133 yards and 17 touchdowns.
