On Tuesday, Dylan Larkin of the Detroit Red Wings was hit by a puck in he groin area, forcing him to miss the remainder United States matchup vs. Canada in the World Championship.
According to Red Wings’ (and United States) head coach Jeff Blashill, Larkin will be ok but will miss the remainder of the World Championship tournament.
From Detroit Free Press:
“Larkin will be out for tournament,” Blashill said via text. “Will be fine but out for tourney.”
It’s a bummer that Larkin will not be able to help out his teammates in the World Championship but it is certainly good to hear that he will be just fine.
