On Sunday, the Tigers announced they are calling up RHP Bryan Garcia from the Toledo Mud Hens to make his MLB debut.
The Tigers today have selected the contract of RHP Bryan Garcia from Triple A Toledo. Garcia will wear #33.
To make room for Garcia on the 40-man roster, OF JaCoby Jones has been transferred to the 60-day injured list.

Garcia, who is 24, was selected by the Tigers in the 6th round of the 2016 MLB Draft. In 3 Minor League seasons, he is 8-5 with a 2.50 ERA in 107 relief appearances. Garcia also accumulated 25 saves over that time. In 2019 with the Mud Hens, he went 3-0 with a 2.97 ERA in 31 games out of the bullpen.
Garcia is currently the No. 21 ranked Tigers' prospect according to MLB Pipeline.
