On Wednesday, Detroit Tigers pitcher Daniel Norris continued his struggles as he gave up five earned runs in just four innings against the San Francisco Giants.
Tigers manager Brad Ausmus joined the Jamie and Stoney show on 97.1 the ticket on Thursday morning and revealed that Norris was going on the disabled list and Blaine Hardy was being recalled.

Norris has now given up five earned runs in his last three starts, ballooning his earned run average to 5.29 on the season.
After going 4-2 with a 3.38 ERA in 2016, the Tigers and their fans had high hopes for the 24-year-old lefty but things have not gone as planned.
Hopefully, a stint in Toledo will help Norris to figure things out sooner than later.
