There is little debate, former Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson will go down as one of the greatest football receivers of all-time. Unfortunately for Lions fans, Johnson decided to retire prior to the 2016 NFL season rather than continue to play and risk further injury to his already bruised body.
Since Johnson announced his retirement, there has been speculation as to whether or not he would eventually change his mind and return to the NFL. Johnson himself has shot that speculation down, but that does not mean everyone is ready to give up on possibly seeing him play again.
One person who would like to see Johnson return to the NFL is former Detroit Lion, Nate Burleson. Check out the video below from TMZ which shows Burleson pleading with Johnson to make a comeback.
