JUST IN: Detroit Lions sign DE Louis Palmer

According to reports, the Detroit Lions have signed undrafted free agent Louis Palmer. Palmer is a defensive end/defensive lineman who played his college ball locally at Central Michigan University. To make room for Palmer, the Lions released offensive tackle Lamar Holmes.

In four seasons at CMU, Palmer registered 91 tackles and five sacks.
