It’s almost June and as of now, the Detroit Tigers do not look like they will contend for a playoff spot. One reason for their struggles is a lack of consistency when it comes to scoring runs and that seems to be reflected on the initial All-Star Game Ballot update.
As you can see below, only Miguel Cabrera is the only Tiger to be included as one of the top vote-getters up to this point. Cabrera leads the way among first basemen with 326,952 votes.

So far, in 39 games, Cabrera is only hitting .261 with five home runs and 22 RBIs, not exactly what we are used to seeing from the former Triple Crown winner.
If Miggy were to make the All-Star team, it would be the 12th time he has done so in his career.
