On December 30, 2014, Jim Harbaugh was introduced as the University of Michigan football coach for the first time. Ever since that moment, there have been constant rumors and speculation about when he will leave the Wolverines to head back to the NFL.

Those rumors have been fueled once again this season after Michigan suffered losses to Michigan State, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Ohio State.
But despite all of the “outside talk,” Harbaugh has been consistent about his commitment to getting the job done at Michigan.
Not many know Jim Harbaugh as well as his brother, John.

John Harbaugh, who is the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, spoke on Wednesday about his brother’s loyalty to Michigan.
“I think he loves Michigan, I think he loves his players, loves the university, loves the state, we grew up there, that’s our home and he’s in love with the place.”

Since coming to Michigan as a head coach, Harbaugh has an overall record of 28-8 but is a combined 1-5 against Michigan State and Ohio State. That is certainly a record he hopes to improve quickly in the upcoming years.
Though Jim Harbaugh referred to it as “fake news,” there are rumors floating around that Michigan is trying to work out a “lifetime contract” with him.
As far as John Harbaugh goes, he and his Baltimore Ravens will host the Detroit Lions this coming Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium in what is a crucial game for both teams as far as the NFL Playoff picture goes.
