The winds of change are blowing all across the NFL on the first official day of free agency. After news of the signing of safety Tavon Wilson broke for the Lions, the news of Isa Abdul Quddus‘s departure soon followed.

Primarily used on special teams before the last season, the 26-year old Abdul-Quddus had a breakthrough in 2015. In 16 games (eight starts), he racked up 40 tackles and six pass deflections, as well as a sack.
As it stands now, the only players with experience at safety left on the roster are Wilson, Glover Quin,and Don Carey.
