On Saturday, the Michigan Wolverines took care of business as they went on the road and defeated Rutgers 42-7. Though the Wolverines won the game easily, as they were expected to do, they did not come out unscathed as a couple of players were injured and left early.

While meeting with the media on Monday, Jim Harbaugh gave an update on a trio of Wolverines’ players who either missed the game vs. Rutgers or who were injured during it.
Lavert Hill, who exited the field prior to halftime has been placed in concussion protocol and he is still being evaluated.
“Being evaluated,” Harbaugh said of Hill.

Also leaving Saturday’s game early was defensive end, Kwity Paye who got hit in the funny bone.
“He should be good,” Harbaugh said. “Got hit on the funny bone. Had never been hit on the funny bone before. Scary first time that happens.”
Missing the game vs. Rutgers completely was defensive lineman, Aubrey Solomon, who was ill.
“It’s cold and flu season,” Harbaugh said. “Get your flu shots.”
Harbaugh also have an update on wide receiver Tarik Black, who has played the past couple of weeks but has been limited.
“Progressing good,” Harbaugh said. “Fully engaged with the trainers and with him on the things he can do and keep progressing more. Certain types of routes we’re just saying, ‘OK, maybe that’s not as good.’ Puts more pressure on that outside part of his foot. He’s become more confident with it and coaches have done a really good job working with the doctors and trainers without making unacceptable risks.”
Michigan will play their final home game of the season this coming Saturday when the Indiana Hoosiers come to town. After that, they will shift their focus to their road matchup against the Ohio State State Buckeyes.
