It is no longer a rumor. Michigan wide receiver Tarik Black fractured his foot and will miss time in 2018. Initial rumors speculated that Black would miss the entire 2018 campaign but Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh would not get into specifics during his weekly press conference on Monday. Instead, Harbaugh said Black would miss “some weeks.”

On Monday night, during his weekly radio show, Harbaugh was a bit more specific, saying a “return is very much possible” for Black.

Though Harbaugh noted during the press conference earlier in the day, Black’s foot was still being evaluated and it had not yet been determined if he would need surgery.
This news should be very encouraging for Michigan fans considering Black is without a doubt one of their best offensive weapons and his presence on the field could mean big things for the Wolverines.
