Well, on Thursday, Jordan Zimmermann of the Detroit TigersĀ flirted with joining (or topping) Feller in the record books as he took a perfect game into the seventh inning. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be as Teoscar Hernandez of the Blue Jays reached on an infield single with two outs.

In seven innings, Zimmermann allowed just one hit without walking a Blue Jays batter before he was relieved by Joe Jimenez.

Not a bad start for Zimm!
