On July 26, Detroit Lions fans rejoiced when it was announced the team had signed free agent defensive lineman Mike Daniels.

Daniels, who is coming back from a foot injury he suffered on Nov. 15 of the 2018 season, has yet to practice with the Lions but he chalks it up as “being smart.”
The former Green Bay Packers DT joined Stacey Dales of the NFL Network and he was asked when he would begin practicing.
From Lions Wire:
“I’ve already started doing some individuals things. I’ll be able to do some striking with the guys down there when we get to Houston. It’s a process.”
“Honestly, I could play tomorrow, but it’s just a matter of being smart.”
How is @Lions DT @Mike_Daniels76 fitting in with his new team?
He likes what he sees on defense and is ready to bring his attitude 👇
