This coming Sunday at Ford Field, Matthew Stafford, and the Detroit Lions will square off against Ndamukong Suh and the Los Angeles Rams.

On Wednesday, Suh was asked about some comments he made about who has been his favorite quarterback to play with so far in his career and whether or not those comments were simply a compliment to Jared Goff or a message the other quarterbacks he has played with, including Stafford.
“That’s a great quarterback in Jared,”Suh said. “I loved him. I’d say another guy that I enjoyed being around was Jay Cutler. Obviously, playing against him many years in the black and blue division up there in Detroit, being able to get to know him down in Miami, he’s a great dude. I enjoy the quarterbacks I’ve been around, but probably those two the most.”
On Thursday, Stafford was told what Suh said and the Lions signal-caller had the following response.
From ESPN:
Ndamukong Suh, when asked Wednesday about his former teammate, Matthew Stafford, declined to say much about him but did say how much he enjoyed playing with Jared Goff and Jay Cutler. Stafford was asked for a response Thursday and after hearing about Suh’s comments, he laughed: “Oh yeah? Well done. Classic Suh. Pretty good stuff.” Stafford didn’t get much into the relationship he and Suh had while they spent five seasons together in Detroit from 2010-2014 that included two playoff appearances (but no playoff wins). Instead, he just nodded to his right, where Suh’s locker used to be a couple stalls down from him. “It was cool. His locker right over there,” Stafford said. “I had a good experience with him. He was a really good player, obviously.”

One thing is for sure, Stafford always seems to take the high road when shots are fired his way.
Hopefully, he and his teammates get the last laugh this coming Sunday but we are not holding our breath.
