JUST IN: Michigan standout David Long meets with Detroit Lions

One position the Detroit Lions could stand to improve on is cornerback. Yes, they have Darius Slay on one side of the field but that is pretty much where it ends when talking about NFL starter-caliber CBs.

With the NFL Draft approaching, a cornerback the Lions could take a long, hard look at is former University of Michigan standout, David Long.

According to Long, who joined the SiriusXM NFL show, he had completed a visit with the Lions.

Long, who put up outstanding numbers at the NFL Scouting Combine, has been jumping up in mock drafts and he could be a potential pick for the Lions in the second round.
