Can the World Baseball Classic be done with, already? The injuries have been mounting for teams with players playing in the WBC, and late on Thursday night the Tigers may have lost another one.
Tigers 1B Miguel Cabrera left the game early with back tightness, according to Jon Morosi. The information was relayed to Morosi via Venezuelan manager Omar Vizquel. Cabrera was taken out as a precaution, but nevertheless it's something to keep an eye on.

The injury isn't expected to be serious or long-term, but with the Tigers season only a few weeks away, fans are worried. Any injury to Cabrera would be a huge loss for the Tigers, who are already picked by many to have a down season. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
