Heading into 2019, many Detroit Tigers‘ fans were excited to see a full season of rookie outfielder, Christin Stewart.
Unfortunately, a full season of Stewart went out the door when he was placed on the IL on April 18th with a right quad strain.

On Thursday, Tigers’ manager Ron Gardenhire joined the Jamie and Stoney Show on 97.1 the Ticket and he revealed that Stewart is ready to go and he will be joining the team on Friday night in Minnesota.

In 16 games this season, Stewart is batting .222 with three home runs and 13 RBIs.
