Following Wednesday’s loss to the Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander spoke to the media.
But one member of the media, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press, was not in attendance because he was banned from the Astros clubhouse.
According to reports, Fenech was told by the Astros that he would not be allowed in until Verlander was done speaking to the media. Reports also state that Verlander himself requested that Fenech not be allowed in.
On Thursday, Verlander took to Twitter to explain why he did not want Fenech to be allowed to speak to him.
Although I tried to avoid this situation altogether, I’ve still reached out to @freep multiple times today with no response. They’re still not interested in my side of the story.

Nation, are you on Verlander’s side or Fenech’s side?
