Just over a week ago, the Detroit Lions announced that Matthew Stafford was being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list after he came into close contact with a person who had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Because of that, Stafford was forced to leave his family and quarantine in a hotel room until the Lions Week 9 matchup vs. the Minnesota Vikings.
Despite playing in the game against the Vikings on Sunday, Stafford was not allowed to return home to his family until Wednesday (we assume since Matthew noted in his Wednesday presser that he thought he was able to return home that night).
On Thursday, Kelly Stafford took to Instagram to post a video of Matthew’s daughters seeing him for the first time in over a week.
This is what it is all about!
