Most believed that the Detroit Lions would give WR Kenny Golladay a contract extension before Week 1 of the 2020 regular season. In fact, when asked in August, Golladay said he was hopeful the deal would get done before the start of the season.
Well, we are now heading into Week 3 and Golladay has yet to sign an extension and because of a hamstring injury, which he admitted is still not 100% healed, he has yet to play in a game.
Following Friday’s practice, Golladay spoke to reporters and he was asked for an update on his contract situation.
“I’m gonna let those guys, the organization and my agent, handle it,’ Golladay said. “If these guys want me here, then I’m pretty sure they’ll figure out a way to keep me here.
“Everything will pretty much work itself out,” Golladay said. “Talk to my family, talk to my agent and we’ll figure out what’s the best situation for me. “
Nation, do you think the Lions will find a way to give Golladay an extension?
