By now, you have almost certainly heard about and have probably seen the epic introductory presser for new Detroit Lions’ head coach, Dan Campbell.
Just about everybody has weighed in on Campbell’s epic first impression but we have yet to hear from too many current Lions’ players.
Until now.
Lions’ WR Kenny Golladay joined Nate Burleson and the crew on Good Morning Football and he said that his injured hip is feeling pretty good. Golladay also admitted that he “died laughing” when he first saw Campbell’s interview.
“Actually, I’m feeling pretty good right now. I’m really excited to get back to work,” he said. “Coach Campbell came with that energy. I’m trying to match the same energy he came with.”
“I’m not going to lie, when I first saw it, I died laughing, but I loved it,” Golladay commented. “That’s the energy I’m talking about. He set the tone right there. I guess we’re going to be biting some kneecaps off.”
Golladay is set to become a free agent and the question is, will the Lions offer him a new contract or let him walk?
