Key Detroit Lions player among four to miss practice as team prepares for Browns

The Detroit Lions are still looking to win their first game of the 2021 season with their next opportunity coming this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

On Thursday, the Lions continued their preparations for Sunday's game but they were without four players.

Those players, according to reports, are QB Jared Goff, RB Jermar Jefferson, LT Taylor Decker, and EDGE Trey Flowers.

This is the second practice in a row that Goff has missed as he continues to deal with an oblique injury. If he is unable to give it a go against the Browns, it will likely be Tim Boyle who gets the start.

As far as Decker goes, it is unclear if he suffered a setback or if missing practice on Thursday is just a maintenance day.

Today's full injury report will be released by the team later this afternoon.
