During OTAs last week, the Detroit Lions had over 80 players in attendance, which was an outstanding turnout.
But according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, that number will get a boost this coming week as key DL Michael Brockers, who missed last week with family business, will be in Allen Park.
Brockers was acquired via a trade that sent a 2023 seventh-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams, who were looking to free up cap space.
He was set to count as $9.83 million against the Rams cap in 2021, which they were not comfortable paying.
The Lions had 80+ players at OTAs last week and they’re getting one more this week: Michael Brockers, one of the Lions’ top offseason additions, will be in attendance after tending to some family business last week.

John quit being a hack and phoning it in. Do the research. Stafford a scrambler? That old man, please like Steve Young or Roger Staubach? No. Goff is one of the best QBs in the pocket who hasn’t had a running game since before the Super Bowl in 2018 until halfway through last year when Cam Acres took over. Goff played this last 3 games with a broken throwing hand. Who does that? Goff fumbling has nothing with keeping the pocket clean. Goff has a bigger wind-up, that’s why. It’s correctable. GM Holmes selected Sewell because he was the best player on the board not b/c he had to. Come on stop regurgitating typical media BS about Goff.
