Kyler Murray’s agent releases statement revealing demand for Arizona Cardinals

In case you have not yet heard, there has seemingly been some tension in regards to Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals. In fact, there has been some talk that he wants to be traded during the current offseason.

Well, according to Murray’s agent, that is not true at all as Kyler wants to be an Arizona Cardinal.

On Monday, Burkhardt released the following statement suggesting that Murray 1) Wants to be the Cardinals’ long-term QB and 2) Kyler desperately wants to win the Super Bowl.

Burkhardt then proceeds to tell the Cardinals that in order for that to happen, there needs to be long-term stability for both the organization and for Murray.

Burkhardt said in the statement that a detailed contract proposal has been sent to the organization.

The contract “Provides financial protection, is in line with the current QB market that compares his results alongside relevant comps, lowers his 2022-23 salary cap number to allow for the Cardinals to re-sign other deserving teammates and add additional free agents, and most importantly, represents a real commitment from the organization to see if their ultimate goals align with his two above.”
