Larkin on North America’s World Cup roster

Detroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin has been named to Team North America’s 23 man roster for the upcoming World Cup of Hockey.

In addition to his strong rookie campaign with the Red Wings, Larkin continued to impress on the international stage, representing the United States at the 2016 IIHF World Championship. In 10 games played, his nine points were tied for the USA lead with projected 2016 first overall NHL draft pick Auston Matthews.

The World Cup is scheduled to take place from September 17 through October 1 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
