According to the latest report from Tom Pelissero, the NFL’s latest proposal to the NFLPA is to play just one preseason game, rather than two, though players are still pushing for no preseason games at all.
Pelissero notes that under the new proposal, the one preseason that would be played would take place in what would normally be the third preseason week on Aug. 27.
For the Detroit Lions, this would mean traveling to Miami to take on the Dolphins in what has been labeled the worst possible NFL city to be in at this point in time.
