On Saturday at noon, the greatest rivalry in sports was renewed when the Ohio State Buckeyes hosted the Michigan Wolverines at The Horseshoe in Columbus. If you watched the game, you are well aware that the Wolverines dominated the Buckeyes by a score of 45-23. As you probably know, NBA star LeBron James is from Ohio and he is a huge fan of the Buckeyes. In fact, earlier in the week he gifted the Buckeyes' players special cleats to wear against Michigan. They obviously did not work.
How did LeBron James react to Michigan destroying Ohio State?
Following the conclusion of The Game, James took to Twitter and he tweeted his reaction, which is 100% accurate.
“Good Ole Fashion A** Kicking!!!” James tweeted.
At least LeBron's day was not a complete failure as he and his Lakers teammates defeated the San Antonio Spurs 143-138. James had a season-high 39 points and 11 rebounds in the game.
LeBron and the rest of the OSU fans will now have to wait another year before they get another shot at Michigan. (Unless they somehow play in the College Football Playoff)
