According to multiple reports, legendary Georgetown basketball coach John Thompson has died at the age of 78.
The cause of Thompson’s death has not been released.

Thompson coached the Georgetown Hoyas basketball team from 1972-1999, where he won 596 games, including an NCAA Championship in 1984.
