With less than one minute remaining in the third period, the Detroit Red Wings trailed the Columbus Blue Jackets by a score of 3-1 when it appeared as if the Red Wings had scored to make it 3-2. But the referee’s original call on the ice was no-goal.
As the puck went into the net, a line brawl erupted which featured good friends Dylan Larkin and Zach Werenski.
After review, it was ruled a good goal to cut the score to 3-2, which would stand as the Red Wings drop to 1-2 on the season.
