When news broke that Quandre Diggs had been traded from the Detroit Lions to the Seattle Seahawks for a fifth and seventh-round pick, Lions CB Darius Slay was one of the first people to voice his displeasure.

Since joining the Seahawks, Diggs has been outstanding and Seattle coaches and players have been more than willing to point out exactly how important he has been to their defense.
Diggs proved that in a big way on Sunday Night Football when he intercepted two Jared Goff passes, including one which he took back to the house.
On Monday, Slay was asked by reporters (again) about the Diggs trade and Slay’s reaction said it all.
“I’m glad he’s out there proving all the doubters wrong,” Slay said.

When asked if it is difficult to block out the negativity, Slay pointed out that ‘Thursday is payday.”

Slay also said that he has blocked over 1,000 haters on Twitter since earlier in the season.
