When the Detroit Lions hired Matt Patricia to be their next head coach, they (and their fans) expected they were getting a defensive guru.
Unfortunaely, the Lions defense has been one of the worst in football and many have wondered why Patricia has not taken over the defensive playcalling duties from defensive coordinator, Paul Pasqualoni.
On Monday, Patricia was asked if he’s taken on a bigger role in defensive playcalling of late and he said it differs from game to game.
Patricia on if he's taken on a bigger role in defensive play calling of late: My role on game day it differs game by game, some games it’s more, some games its less and that’s been the same throughout the season

Nation, do you believe Patricia should be calling the defense 100% of the time?
