Whether you love him or hate him, you have to admit that Matthew Stafford has been outstanding through the first four games of the 2019 season.
Because of his play this season, the Lions signal caller has been the center of praise quite a bit as of late, including grand complements from former NFL QB Carson Palmer and Packers head coach, Matt LeFleur.
But the greatest praise of all came on Thursday when Lions legend Barry Sanders was asked about Stafford.
Sanders not only referred to Stafford as “elite” but he compared him to the greatest of all-time…himself!
”You know when you play against him, you’re in for a dog fight,” Sanders told Brad Galli.

Wow, that is certainly quite the complement from the GOAT!
