The Detroit Lions made a move towards building their depth on Monday, inking free-agent guard Josh Garnett.
Garnett was released by the San Francisco 49ers prior to this season after spending three years with the team. He was originally drafted 28th overall in the 2016 NFL draft. Prior to that, he played college ball at Stanford.
In 22 career games, he’s started in 11. He also worked out for the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers prior to signing with the Lions.
