Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press is reporting that the Detroit Lions are making a move at kicker, bringing in Free Agent Alex Henery to replace Nate Freese.
Nate Freese is 3-7 on the season and missed a 41-yard attempt in Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
Alex Henery, 27, has most recently kicked for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2013 and went 23-28. In Henery’s career he is 74-86 in three seasons with the Eagles. Henery was a 4th round pick for the Eagles in the 2011 NFL draft.
