In October, a shooter killed 59 people in Las Vegas, including himself, in what is the deadliest mass shooting in the history of the United States.

The tragedy was one the hit close to home for Detroit Lions safety, Miles Killebrew, who was born in Henderson, Nevada. During the shooting, six of Killebrew’s friends were shot, and thankfully all six survived.

But ever since that moment, Killebrew has been doing whatever he can to show support for those affected by the tragedy.

On Monday night, when the Lions take on the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, Killebrew will be donning Las Vegas-inspired cleats to show his support.

According to MLive, Killebrew has been “working for weeks on designing the custom cleats and getting them cleared for play.”

3 Keys to a Detroit Lions win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football

The Detroit Lions (3-4) are coming off of a disappointing 20-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football, but now they must put that behind them and turn their focus to their division rival, the Green Bay Packers (4-3). The Packers will be without their franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers due to injury, which is a huge plus for the Lions. If the Lions want to get a huge in division win against their biggest rival, they must do these three things:

1. Expose Brett Hundley

Brett Hundley, the new starting quarterback for the Packers, has not had very much experience playing at the professional level, which is good for the Lions. If they want to win this game, they must expose Hundley’s weaknesses and his inexperience. If the defense can put pressure on him and force him to make bad decisions, then the Lions will have a good chance to walk away from Lambeau Field with a victory in hand.
