Good news: The Detroit Lions leading touchdown getter from 2016, Anquan Boldin, is returning for his 15th NFL season.
Add Anquan Boldin to list of free-agent wideouts. The veteran has decided to return for a 15th season. He led DET w/ 8 TD catches in '16.

Bad news: He might not be returning to the Lions.
We'll see if he comes back to the Lions. That's a possibility, but also heard he wanted to stay near his home in Florida/ https://t.co/ZKXETKnlhe

Boldin was a very nice addition to the receiving core last season and played the part of a veteran leader to a tee.
However, in the Lions blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the playoffs, Boldin had multiple drops that would have extended drives and a some boneheaded penalties that would end up killing any chance the Lions had of scoring.
The big question that comes down to the fans is simply do you want Boldin back on the roster?
