Christmas Day NFL football already feels like a gift… but this year, Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings fans are getting a second present, and it’s wrapped in blue smoke and West Coast swagger.

The NFL and Netflix announced Tuesday that Snoop Dogg will headline the halftime show for the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings Christmas Day matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium. The game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET exclusively on Netflix, with Snoop taking the stage at the break.

So if you don’t love whatever’s waiting for you under the tree, just remember: Snoop Dogg is waiting for you at halftime. Hard to complain about that.
Snoop himself chimed in with a classic Uncle Snoop message full of holiday vibes.
“NFL, Netflix and your uncle Snoop on Christmas Day? We’re serving music, love and good vibes for the whole world to enjoy. That’s the kind of holiday magic Santa can’t fit in a bag.”
Netflix broke the news with a fun announcement video across social media, officially locking in what’s sure to be one of the most memorable halftime shows of the season. Last year’s Christmas Gameday headliner was none other than Beyoncé, so Snoop is stepping into some legendary holiday footsteps.
And this isn’t the only Christmas football on Netflix. The streamer will also air Cowboys vs. Commanders at 1 p.m. ET, while Prime Video handles the nightcap: Broncos vs. Chiefs at 8:15 p.m. ET.
But for Lions fans dreaming of a Christmas win in Minneapolis, Snoop Dogg rocking halftime is just extra frosting on the gingerbread.
Detroit. Minnesota. Christmas. And Snoop.
That’s a holiday lineup Santa definitely can’t fit in the bag.
