MUST SEE: All 11 of the Red Wings 2019 Draft selections

The 2019 NHL Draft has wrapped up, and there are 11 new players in the Detroit Red Wings organization.

6: M. Seider – He stands at 6-3 and 208 lbs and shoots right. He appeared in 29 games for Mannheim this past season, picking up two goals and four assists, and was named rookie of the year in the German league.

35: A. Tuomisto – He’s 6-4 and 193 pounds and shoots right. He had nine goals and 26 assists, along with 49 penalty minutes of Assat Jr. in the Finnish league.

54: LW Robert Mastrosimone – He’s a 5-10, 170-pound left wing who played for Chicago in the USHL, collecting 31 goals and 29 assists in 54 games. He has committed to Boston University.

60: D Albert Johansson of Farjestads Juniors in Sweden, he shoots left and picked up five goals and 24 assists in 40 games.

66: RW Alblin Grewe – He’s 5-11, 190 lbs and tallied 13 goals and 21 assists in 25 games with the Djurgarden Juniors, in addition to 102 penalty minutes.

97: E. Phillips – He’s 5-9, 150 lbs and is a right-handed shooter who played for Sioux Falls of the USHL, picking up 16 goals and 27 assists in 50 games as part of the Clark Cup championship team. He’s committed to Boston University.

128: Cooper Moore – He’s 6-1, 181 lbs and shoots left. He’ll play for the Chilliwack Chiefs of the BCHL next season, the same team Dennis Cholowski, Detroit’s 2016 top pick, played for. Moore committed to North Dakota for 2020-21.

159: RW Elmer Soderblom – He’s 6-6, 219 lbs and had nine goals and eight assists in 44 games for Frolunda.

177: D Gustav Berglund – At 6’2 and 194 lbs, he’s their fifth defensemen in this draft, and the third who shoots right.

190: RW Kirill Tyutyayev – He’s 5-9 and 146 lbs and hails from from Yekaterinburg, Russia.

191: G Carter Gylander – Detroit’s lone goaltender of the draft, he’s 6-5 and 171 lbs and played for Sherwood Park (AJHL). He committed to Colgate.
