This coming Sunday, the Detroit Lions will welcome the Carolina Panthers to Ford Field in a matchup between what looks to be two of the better teams in the NFC.

If the Lions want to move to 4-1 on the season, they will have to do so short-handed as rookie wide receiver Kenny Golladay, linebacker Paul Worrilow and running back Dwayne Washington have already been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup.

In addition, DE Ziggy Ansah, S Don Carey, LB Jarrad Davis, OG T.J. Lang, DT Haloti Ngata, C Travis Swanson, OT Rick Wagner, and LB Tahir Whitehead are all listed as questionable on the Lions injury report.

As far as the Panthers go, they have also already ruled a trio of players out. Safeties Kurt Coleman and Demetrious Cox, along with center Ryan Kalil will all miss the Week 5 matchup against the Lions.

Both the Lions and Panthers are coming off of huge wins in Week 4. The Lions picked up an important divisional win on the road against the Minnesota Vikings, while the Panthers went into New England and beat the defending Super Bowl Champion Patriots on their own turf.
