Last week, after beating the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, some publications actually dropped the Detroit Lions down a notch in their power rankings.
Now, a week later, after a controversial loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the Lions are starting to get some love. Heck, depending on where you look, they are starting to get some MAJOR love.
According to the USA Today NFL Power Rankings, the Lions are the No. 4 team in the NFL. That’s right, folks, if you believe in these rankings, only the Kansas City Chiefs (No. 1), Atlanta Falcons (No.2), and New England Patriots (No. 3) are better than the Lions.
The Lions jumped six spots in the rankings despite losing to the Falcons 30-26 on Sunday afternoon.

I do strongly disagree with the Packers moving up 2. After they barely escape a win against Cinncy, on home field because the Bengals couldnt get a first down late. The Packers somehow move up 2? Unheard of. Lol
