On Tuesday afternoon, the Detroit Lions traded receiver Golden Tate to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a third round draft pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Following the completion of the trade, Lions executive vice president and general manager Bob Quinn released a statement thanking Tate for his years in Detroit and wishing him luck moving forward.

Damon “Snacks” Harrison accomplishes something no other Detroit Lions DT has
There was a ton of excitement for Detroit Lions fans heading into Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. Not only did the team have a chance to move to 4-3 on the season, but they also had a new “impact” defender making his debut.
Last week, the Lions traded a fifth-round pick to the New York Giants for DT Damon “Snacks” Harrison. Acquiring Harrison was perfect for the Lions as their defense through six games was one of the worst in the NFL when it came to stopping the run.
Well, the Lions may have lost the game, but Harrison was certainly a bright spot.
In fact, in his first game with the team, “Snacks” accomplished something no Lion had ever accomplished before as he became the first DT in franchise history to record seven solo tackles, a sack, and two tackles for loss in a single game.
