LOOK: Detroit Lions’ switch up offensive line on Day 1 of OTAs

On Monday, the Detroit Lions held their first day of OTAs for the 2019 offseason and there is photo floating around which has quite a few people talking.

The photo I am referring to is that which is in the top right of the tweet listed below which shows second-year offensive lineman Frank Ragnow about to snap the football.

What is interesting about the photo (to some) is that Ragnow was not the Lions’ center in 2018. That job belonged to Graham Glasgow while Ragnow played guard.

Another photo posted to the Detroit Lions website shows Glasgow taking snaps at guard.

Now, though it is slightly interesting to see Ragnow and Glasgow in different positions, don’t read much into it.

Lions’ head coach Matt Patricia has made it clear that he likes to put his players in different (and sometimes uncomfortable) positions to see how they do and to give them a taste in case a situation ever arises where they have to switch things up.
