Though it was not announced, it seems as if Detroit Lions‘ wide receiver Danny Amendola has switched his number.
When Amendola was first signed by the Lions this offseason, it looked as if he was going to be wearing No. 12. That was until the Lions released tight end Michael Roberts, who wore No. 80 during his time in Detroit.

Now, according to the Detroit Lions official website, Amendola is listed as No. 80.
When he first came into the league, Amendola wore No. 16 for the Rams. Since joining the New England Patriots in 2013, he has wore No. 80 and that is now what he will be wearing with the Lions.
