On Sunday, the Detroit Tigers did something they have not been doing too often this season as they won a baseball game.
Tigers’ RF Nicholas Castellanos led the Tigers to a 4-3 victory with a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th inning.

Despite the home run, his 11th of the season, Castellanos had some harsh words for Comerica Park.
“This park is a joke. It’s to the point where how are we going to be compared to the rest of the league for power numbers, OPS, slugging and all this stuff when we got a yard out here that’s 420 feet straight across center field?”

To be fair, many have thrown out comments about Comerica Park being pitcher friendly but the numbers have proven that it really does not favor hitters much.
It is clear that he wants out of Detroit, but maybe Castellanos should check his career splits before making excuses as heading into Sunday’s game, his career OPS was .805 at Comerica Park and .766 on the road. Same goes with slugging as he was .467 at home and .454 on the road.
