One of the moments everyone is talking about from Saturday night’s Floyd Mayweather–Conor McGregor happened right after the bell rang at the end of the fifth round.
Mayweather was chirping at McGregor and even gave the multiple-time UFC champion a shove with his left hand. Some thought that showed the frustration of the undefeated boxer, but Mayweather clarified that it was the exact opposite. He was continuing the trash-talking that had been going on for months.
Here is what Mayweather said:
You still haven't knocked me out?
You said it wouldn't go past four, when are you going to use your power?
Ok, that is pretty good! McGregor said multiple times leading up to the fight that he was going to finish Mayweather off before the end of the fourth round. However, it was Mayweather that dominated after the first few rounds and finished McGregor off with a TKO in the 10th round.
