LOOK: Former Detroit Lions’ DT trying to make it in XFL

According to reports, former Detroit Lions (and Michigan State) DT Jerel Worthy is trying to make it in the XFL.

Worthy’s name appeared on an XFL participants roster for the tryout which was held in New York on Friday, June 14th.

Worthy, who was a standout at Michigan State, was with the Lions in the 2015 preseason but he fell short of making the final roster.
